Terms
Who these Terms are between
These Terms are between you (the subscriber) and ActualLife, a business based in Bangkok, Thailand, operated by Joyce Patrick Group. By subscribing to Keeper, you agree to these Terms.
What Keeper is
Keeper is a weekly email companion that walks with you through the week you wrote on your A4. Keeper drafts are shaped from what you wrote, in your own words, and delivered as:
- A Monday Letter — one step the week is built around.
- Whispers through Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
- A Friday pulse, a Saturday breath, a Sunday close.
Keeper is a companion. Keeper is not therapy, mental health treatment, medical advice, financial advice, or a crisis service. If you are in crisis or need professional help, please contact a licensed professional or a crisis line in your country. In Thailand, the Samaritans of Thailand crisis line is +66 2 713 6793.
Subscription, price, and billing
- Keeper costs ฿199 per month, billed through Stripe.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month on the day you subscribed, until you cancel.
- Prices may change in future; we will email you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect and give you a clear way to cancel before you are charged the new amount.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time. Two ways:
- Reply to any Keeper email with the word cancel. We'll confirm within 24 hours and stop your next billing.
- Or cancel directly in Stripe's customer portal (link provided in your receipt and welcome email).
When you cancel, Keeper emails stop at the end of the current billing period. No trick charges.
Refunds
If Keeper stops landing for you — at any point, in the first week or the first month or the sixth month — reply and tell us. Our default is to refund the most recent month without argument. If you've been with us longer and something genuinely isn't working, we'll figure out a fair unwind together. We'd rather lose a month than hold someone's money who isn't being served.
How you can and cannot use Keeper
Yes:
- Use Keeper for your own reflection, at your own pace.
- Reply with anything — questions, pushback, tell us what isn't landing.
- Share ideas from Keeper Letters with the people in your life.
No:
- Don't share your subscription access with other people — each Keeper is for one person.
- Don't republish or resell Keeper Letters as your own content or as a product.
- Don't use Keeper for anything unlawful, harassing, or harmful to anyone.
- Don't use automated tools to scrape or misuse the reply channel.
What you own, what we own
You own what you wrote. Your A4, your rhythm, your replies — they are yours. We hold them on your behalf so Keeper can walk with you, and we never claim ownership.
We own Keeper itself. The Letters, the voice, the rhythm design, the website, the system — those are ActualLife's intellectual property. Reading them and being moved by them is welcome; republishing them is not.
What we can't promise
Keeper is a small, honest service. We will do our best, but we can't promise:
- That every Letter will land perfectly for you. (If it doesn't, reply — that's the whole point of the open door.)
- That the service will never have downtime or a missed send. When mistakes happen, we'll own them.
- Any specific life outcome. Keeper walks with you; the walking is still yours.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, ActualLife's total liability for any claim relating to Keeper is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous three months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. This clause doesn't limit anything that can't legally be limited (e.g. fraud, or harm caused by gross negligence).
Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms in any way that affects you, we'll update this page and send a Keeper email explaining what changed at least 14 days before the change takes effect. If you don't agree with the change, you can cancel before it takes effect and we'll refund any portion already paid for the affected period.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. If we ever disagree about something, we'll try to resolve it in conversation first; if we can't, the courts of Bangkok have jurisdiction.
